Juve still carries plenty of threats of course, including Chelsea-linked Federico Chiesa, while their defense still has the likes of Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci marshaling the troops — including also Chelsea-linked young defender Matthijs de Light. Former Chelsea flop Johnny Squared, Juan Cuadrado is still around as well, at the age of 33, with well over 200 appearances for the Old Lady at this point.

Team news

N’Golo Kante has Covid, while Mason Mount (knock), Christian Pulisic (ankle) and Reece James (ankle) are also all still sidelined.

Juventus have been handed a double blow after Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that both Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata will miss Wednesday’s match after sustaining injuries in Saturday’s win against Sampdoria.

Dybala is out with a thigh injury and Allegri has confirmed that both forwards will be out of Juventus’ next two games.

There are serious questions in attack for Juve. First, they just haven’t been very good, but now they face Chelsea without both Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata. That’s a bad sign considering they are the only two players to score multiple goals for the team this season. Lot of news out of the club on Tuesday with Christian Pulisic still out due to injury and N’Golo Kante now out after having tested positive for COVID-19. The Pulisic absence isn’t as big as the Kante one, but the team has so much depth and should be fine.

Juventus have shown signs of life after their horrendous start to the season in Serie A, but the injuries to Dybala and Morata have come at a bad time for the Old Lady. Chelsea will be looking to respond following their disappointing defeat to City and this is a good opportunity for Tuchel to secure an important win over his Group H rivals. Juventus 0-2 Chelsea

The attacking duo in Allegri’s 4-4-2 will thus be Chiesa and Kean, while in defense it seems set to be a four, with Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini in the heart of the defense.
