The return of Ansu Fati to the squad list will come as good news for Koeman, but the Barcelona boss is still without Ousmane Dembele, Pedri, Jordi Alba, Sergio Aguero, Alejandro Balde and Martin Braithwaite due to injury, while Frenkie de Jong is suspended for the Levante match after being sent off against Cadiz.

Levante, on the other hand, are yet to get their first win of the season, with their winless start to the season leaving them tottering at 16th on the table. The Granotes might have lost just two of their six games so far, but their profligacy in the final third has proven to be their undoing in the early stages of the campaign.

Team News

Jordi Alba is out until next month, while Alejandro Balde remains a doubt, meaning Osar Mingueza will likely play on the right again with Sergino Dest filling in on the left.

Ousmane Dembele and Sergio Aguero are out until October, and Pedri is another who won’t return until next month.

Martin Braithwaite is out for the long-term.

Long-term absentee Ansu Fati has a chance of returning off the bench here having been out since last November with a knee injury.

Roberto Soldado is still out for Levante, while key creative men Enis Bardhi and Jose Campana will miss their second consecutive game.

Michael Malsa is out with a calf injury that will keep him out until next week.

Jorge De Frutos came off the bench last time out following injury but he could well start here, while Jose Luis Morales could be rested.
